Surfwise IP VPN offers any-to-any connectivity as the service is fundamentally ‘connectionless’. Sites can exchange information without the need to establish fixed links so IP VPN can therefore help scale VPNs more easily in order to take advantage of distributed hosting. This also creates increased cost-effectiveness as there is no usage-based Permanent Virtual Circuit (PVC) charges and infrastructure costs are shared. This, along with our low cost ADSL access solutions, means a corporate grade IP VPN is even more affordable.

Optional Extras

Surfwise IP VPN has a wide variety of extra services and add-ons that complement the core IP VPN offering.

Routers are not included with the Surfwise IP VPN service, giving the flexibility to build a network that suits the requirements of individual businesses. This is the fully unbundled service but we can also offer a Fully Managed Service. We are able to provide equipment for purchase and we can manage the complete solution including providing and setting up routers.

Surfwise IP VPN Internet Breakout allows for the choice of all or a selection of sites to access the Internet via our own core network allowing for cost savings on the separate installation of Internet access.

Surfwise IP VPN Management Information Reporting demonstrates how the network is performing in real time. Opting for this reporting package provides bandwidth utilisation reports at a click of a button plus the opportunity to track network trends and monitor the impact of new applications on data flow.

3 Access options:

  • EFM Access - EFM (Ethernet in the First Mile) access is available at 1Mb to 10Mb in 1Mb increments
  • Fibre Access - Ethernet over Fibre is available in three access speeds, 10Mb, 100Mb and 1Gig and a variety of bandwidths are available from 2Mb to 1Gig
  • ADSL Access - Available at up to 8Mb/832kb and 24Mb/1Mb for ADSL and ADSL2+ and 16Mb/2.5Mb for Annex M
